Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) is a serious condition that affects identical twins sharing a placenta. It can lead to severe complications for both fetuses if left untreated. One of the most effective treatments is fetoscopic laser photocoagulation, which targets abnormal blood vessel connections in the placenta. Despite its success, rare but severe complications such as delayed vascular crisis with intracerebral hemorrhage and anemia can occur after the procedure.
